I have a EA8500 and also would like a easy way to connect to a USB drive connected directly to the router. netgear has readyshare that looks like it works. I would like this added to linksys routers as well to make it easy to connect a drive directly connected to the router and use time machine on the mac to do a backup to it. Jim
